WGC Meeting 5^th June 2010

• Previous minutes were accepted
• No Treasurers report as Lee away. He advised shirts not purchased yet, so no significant change to financial position
• Was agreed to have Presidents cup as 2 rounds, modified stableford, 1^st round Hartfield Sunday 1^st August. Voted 5-0
• Amendments to Standing rules
1. Partner scores to be allowed for Eclectic competition if is a game when player hits his own ball all way through each hole
2. Matchplay competition to be organised by the committee each year
3. Non-financial members should be allowed to count scores for eclectic and consistency during the season. However if not a paid up member by end of season, is not allowed to win any of those awards
4. Criteria for deciding on ties in weekly competition to be
1. Second nine net score
2. Last 6 hole net score
3. Last 5,4,3,2,1 hole net score
4. If still tied then a “tie” is declared

(if different for club championships then committee to announce before championships each year)

All amendments voted 5-0

• Graeme is happy for players to stay overnight at Marri Park during the club championships. He will organise with Marri Park.
• Stan suggested that as ball now has to be on green to win the nominated hole, that we choose a slightly easier hole for the “Overs” given number of recent jackpots. Was agreed.
• Graeme said he was happy with way Harvey mid season trip was going and would ask for any needed help. He proposed a non refundable bond of $20 to be paid by members wanting to stay overnight at Harvey. Paid by next week. Agreed 5-0
