Committee Meeting 20th March 2010

- Agreed
to move to new handicap system when rest of Aussie golf does on 8th
April 2010. Each player to have a minimum of 10 cards before we move from
old to new handicap. (vote 6-0)
- Lee
advised club comfortably has surplus funds to return to members and around
$1000 seems reasonable. Ideas still to be floated around, but if have
functions (like last week at Harvey that lose money) that is a fair way to
let members partake in surplus funds built up as all have chance to
attend.
- Frog
happy way Captain’s role going. Steve volunteered to nominate the prize
holes etc to give Frog a bit more time.

suggested a rule each week be discussed/presented to members so that any
infractions can be addressed

will contact Steve next week with a draft of the fixtures

Championship was agreed as a Saturday/Sunday most likely 2 weeks before
AFL Grand Final

advised that Greg has resigned from committee.
- Lee
advised that previous shirts not available anymore. But he would research
as to whether we can get a similar design and colours
so that players did not have to buy new shirts. Also he will check if long
sleeve versions are available

suggested we needed to get fixtures finalised asap

said he would talk to players who want to use carts to see if they will go
in draw with other players who want carts – so that we all get to mix
better
