Partner visa information –
Each stage of the partner visa (309/100/820/801) is taking 16-23 months to process.
DIBP are currently looking at 801 applications where the 2 year period was finished up to April 2016 or earlier.
Sponsorships (for application lodged after Nov 2016) are currently taking around 6 months.
DIBP intends to introduce a 3 year first stage period (instead of the current 2 years) as well as introduce a second stage processing fee.
