We have been advised that the cap for State Migration under the 190 (and presumably 489 program as well) is to be just 800 places.
This is terrible news for WA graduates compared to the healthy numbers of over 3000 in South Australia, NSW and Victoria last program year.
We will be making representations to the state government and writing some media articles about this shortly.
This is hardly going to reverse the dramatic decline in WA student enrollments over the last 18 months.
